Here's a chance to hear the Oistrakh Symphony in a Family Concert at Navy Pier's Polk Bros. Park, when OSC presents Beethoven Lives Upstairs. Delivered in partnership with Classical Kids, Beethoven Lives Upstairs combines drama, music and fun in an engaging concert that is recommended for audiences age six and up.

On August 27, WFMT ensemble-in-residence, KAIA string quartet, will perform works by Bragato, Bernal Jimenez, and Heitor Villa-Lobos. Appetizers and drinks will be served at the salon style performance, which takes place at 2230 N Seminary Ave in Lincoln Park, Chicago.

Oistrakh returns to Fullerton Hall with soloist Ilya Kaler, violin

In conjunction with DePaul University Community Music, Oistrakh performs with 10 outstanding concerto competition winners in piano, violin, viola, cello, and winds.

Oistrakh welcomes Richard Scofano on bandoneón for the world premiere of his concerto, Iberá. KAIA String Quartet also takes the stage.

With soloist Ilya Kaler, Oistrakh opens the Garfield Park Conservatory’s second Music Under Glass concert season with a Viennese Café-style concert. Works by Kreisler, Mozart, Paganini and more!
