DePaul Concerto Festival for Young Performers – 2019 Winners Concert

One of the most exciting events of the year for young musicians is the DePaul Concerto Festival for Young Performers. Each year since 2003, The DePaul School of Music Community Music Division invites students in piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon in 12th grade or younger to audition for the Festival.

At the exciting annual Winners Concert, the winners in each division perform a movement of a concerto at DePaul's Gannon Concert Hall (2330 North Halsted Street, Chicago) with the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago. On Sunday, February 17, 2019, Mina Zikri and the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago will once again accompany the winners of the Concerto Festival.

There is no charge for admissions, but reservations are required, and can me made at Events.DePaul.edu. You can find a list of winners and honorable mentions online at DePaul University’s School of Music.
